Pen Tip Bowling (1 or 2 Players) The supplies you need for this game are a pen tip (See Pen-y-Pincher), several pens and pen caps that are able to stand on their own, a piece of paper and a notebook.  First of all, set up the pens and pen caps in random places but in the same general area.  Then start spinning the pen tip on the notebook.  To start spinning the pen tip, place it between your thumb and middle finger and snap.  Anyway, start spinning the tip ont eh notebok and then tilt the notebook towards your set up of pens, pencaps, and paper.  This will then cause the pen tip to go off the notebook and knock over some of the pens and pencaps.  Eventhough the tip hits a pen or pen cap, it will continue to spin and hit other targets. If you want, tear up small pieces of paper and place them in random areas around and inside the pens and pen caps to cause the tip to go in different directions.  Scoring: After the tip hits the first target you get one point.  If it continues and hits another target your total is 3 points.  If it goes on to hit another target, your score doubles-6 points, 12 points, etc.    Bottle Ball (1 or 2 Players) This game is hard to say in writing so I drew a crude diagram.  It also has a pretty high difficulty level.  Just bare with me.  For this game you need 2 water bottles with large openings, a pencap, a notebook, and some paper.  Place one water bottle on the desk then place the other one leaning against it.  Then place some paper on top of a notebook in front of the water bottles.  Then, Place the pencap in front of the paperso that the part of the cap that you can hook on to your pocket is facing the water bottles. Then press down on the back side of the pen causing the pen to fly into the air and hopefully land in one of the bottles. Scoring:  Making it into the leaning bottle: 2 points.  Making it directly into the verical bottle equals 5 points.  Banking it off the leaning bottle and into the vertical one: 3 points.  First to 10 wins. Tip:  1.  To make it easier to get into the bottles, cut off the part of the pencap that hooks on your pocket.         2.  Try taping the bottles together and tapping them to the desk to get them to stay in place. Jumpa Pen (1 or 2 Players)  The supplies you need for this game include a string and the metal neck of the pen (see pen-y-pincher).  Try to get thread; it works best.  What you do is spin the neck of the pen by placing it between your thumb and middle finger and snapping.  Then you take one end of the rope in each hand and use it as a jump rope.  You try to jump the spinning pen cap as many times as possible untill the pen tip stops spinning.  Scoring: Most jumps winsCurrent record:~~~~42 by Kayleigh~~~~ Please e-mail me if you beat this score and I will put your name by it.  See "Contact Us" Blow Pens (1 or 2 Player)  The supplies you need for this game are a mechanical pencil or straw, 5 pen caps (or however many you have), and some paper.  If you are using a straw you are all set but if you are using a mechanical pencil follow these instructions:  (Bic mechanical pencils work best) Pull out the back part of the pencil, the thing you push in to get lead out.  Then unscrew the tip.  Then, using scissors, cut about an inch or so into both sides of the pencil and you've made a shooter.   I advise that you just bring a straw, it's much easier.  Anyway, to play the game, set up the pen caps in a row.  Then put paper wads into your straw or mechanical pencil and try to shoot down the pencaps by blowing the wad out of your shooter.  Scoring:  If the wad hits the pen cap in the air it is worth 2 points.  If it bounces it is worth one point.  If the wad hits more than one pen cap it is worth double.  2 caps in the air = 4 points.  2 caps off a counce = 2 points.  If you miss a cap then it is the other person's turn to shoot.  Whoever has the most points at the end of however many rounds you have, wins.  Penball (2 Player) The directions to this game are quite simple.  Most of the games on this site work best if your desk arrangement has you and a friend sitting face to face, although they could work if they were sitting directly next to you.  Anyway, penball is a game that requires the following supplies:  2 pens and 1 pen cap.  To play the game just set up 2 pens straight up and down directly across from each other.  Then you take a pencap and flick it at the other person's pen.  Scoring: If you flick the pencap straight up and down then it is worth 2 points.  If you flick it when it is lying on the desk horizontally, it is worth 1 point.  If you pull back your pen and let go so it hits the pencap and then the pencap hits your opponent's pen it is worth .5 of a point.  The first one to five wins that round. There are three rounds. Best 2 out of 3 wins.    Barrel Ball (2 player) The supplies you will need are 2 small gluestick caps and paper.  To play the game set the two glue stick caps on your desk so their opening is facing the person across from you.  Then rip off a small piece of paper and crumple it into a ball.  Next, try to flick the piece of paper into the other person's gluestick cap.  It is easier if you set up the gluestick caps diagonal from each other so the cap wont interfere with your flicking.  Another tip of advice is to make your hand into a cup and put it behind the cap so you don't keep losing the paper wads.  Scoring: If the wad goes to the back of the cap and sticks, it is worth 2 points.  If the paper hits the inside side (the inside of the cap not the outside) of the cap and sticks then it is worth 1 point.  First one to five wins.             Barrel Ball (Pen Variation) (2 Player) For this game you will need the same supplies as Barrel Ball except instead of paper wads you use pens.  Just lay a pen flat on your desk then lay your hand flat on the desk directly behind it.  Then simply push the pen toward your opponent's cap or if you wish you can use a pen that clicks (you know the ones you click the pen part in and out to annoy your teachers) and push the end of it against your thumb and let go.  The pen will then shoot across the desk and hopefully into the gluestick cap.  However, I recommend the first method becuase it is much more accurate.  Scoring: The scoring in this game are basically the same as Barrel Ball.  If the pen goes in the cap and doesn't move the cap it is worth 2 points.  If it goes in the cap but pushes the cap back it is worth 1 point.  Best 2 out of 3 rounds.  Pen-y Pincher (2 players)  For this game you and your opponent each need a pen with a metal neck (tip part) that unscrews.  The object of the game is to spin the tip the longest. To spin it just place it between your thumb and middle finger and snap.  Another tip of advice is to put a notebook or piece of paper under it to muffle the sound.  Scoring: You must spin the tip at the same time as your opponent.  The last tip spinning wins.  Simple as that.  Pen Launch (Finger Version) <br>(1 or 2 Player) For this game all you need is a piece of paper, a pen, and  4 textbooks.  First draw a target on the piece of paper and cut a hole in the center if you want.  Then put 2 textbooks about 10 inches apart.  Next, place the target on top of the textbooks and then place the other two textbooks on top of the edges of the target to hold it down.  To launch the pen, place it between your middle finger and your thumb.(Or you index finger if you wish).  Then press up on the pen with your midle finger and then slowly let your thumb slip off, causing the pen and the to go flying in the air.  NOTE: When you press up with your thumb, do not press to hard or the pen will go flying too far, your teacher will see and you'll probably get in trouble.  This happened to a friend of mine when he did it for the first time.  The pen went flying halfway across the room and hit this girl.  It was pretty funny.  Anyway, be careful. Scoring: Put numbers on the rings of the target so when the pen hits it you will see what score you got.  Then add up the scores.  first one to 100 or 50 or whatever wins.     Pen Launch (Paper Version) This game is just like the Finger Version except you will need two pieces of paper.  Instead of using your fingers to launch the pen you use a piece of paper.  First hold the paper slack in your hands and then place a pen the the center.  Then pull it tight and the pen will launch.  NOTE:  Do not pull paper to hard!!  Another friend of mine did this and it hit this kid smack in the forehead.  Be careful! Scoring: Same as Finger Version Fast Hands (2 Players)  For this game all you need is a piece of paper.  Rip off small pieces of paper and wad them up into balls.  The rules of the game are simple.  Just flick the paper wads at your opponent's hand.  They then try to catch the wad. Scoring: Each catch is worth one point.  First to 3 wins.  Word Stumper (2 Player) All you need for this game is a friend sitting near you and a normal calculator. Fairly simple, you just take turns spelling words on the calculator. It may read right side up or upside down.Scoring:  Unlike the other games, this one doesn't keep score. There is one final winner when the other person is stumped and can't think of another unused word to write. No time limit. For tips see this site:   http://latteier.com/calculator/              Flippa Wad (1 or 2 Players)  For this game you need a piece of paper and one or two gluecaps depending on the number of players.  First put the cap on the desk facing skyward.  Then just put a paper wad on your thumb as if you were going to flip a coin and try to get it into the cap.  You can use a small cap or large but it is very had to get it in the smaller ones so I advise that you use a larger one becuase it makes the game more fun and easier. Scoring:Small cap:  Two points if it goes directly in.  One point if it bounces in. Large cap:  Two points if it bounces in-becuase it is higher and harder to bounce into.  One point if it goes directly in.   Solo Barrel Ball (1 Player) This game is for when you don't sit across from anyone or you don't particularly like the person you sit across from. You only need one gluestick cap, an ordinary textbook or binder, and a piece of paper to make paper wads. You lay the binder or book across from you and set the glue stick cap open side facing the book. You flick the paper wad against the binder or book and try to make it bounce back into the gluestick cap. A tip is to do it at angle, it won't go in if you shoot straight. Scoring:  Same as multiplayer Barrel Ball.   As many rounds as you want.  I mean, who's gonna argue your score?   Thanks for visiting our site!!
